Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 16, 2026 Last Updated: May 16, 2026 Version: 1.0
01 — Introduction

Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

ClickShift Inc. ("ClickShift", "we", "us", or "our") operates ClickBot, a Telegram-based financial services platform that enables users to trade Solana-based digital assets, pay utility bills, transfer funds to Nyour local bank accounts, and earn yield on digital assets. ClickShift is registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and delete your personal information when you use ClickBot via Telegram (t.me/clicksolbot) or any associated services operated by ClickShift Inc. By using ClickBot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the data practices described in this document.

This policy applies to all users of ClickBot regardless of location, though our services are primarily directed at users in emerging economies and the broader African market.

02 — Data We Collect

Information Collected Automatically

Telegram Identity Data

When you interact with ClickBot, Telegram transmits to us your Telegram User ID (a permanent numerical identifier), your Telegram username (if set), your first and last name as registered on Telegram, and your language preference. We do not collect your Telegram phone number, Telegram password, or any private Telegram messages sent to other users or groups.

Wallet and Blockchain Data

ClickBot generates a Solana wallet address on your behalf when you first use the platform. We store your encrypted wallet private key, your public wallet address, your token balances (SOL, USDC, USDT), and all on-chain transaction signatures and trade histories associated with your wallet. All wallet activity is publicly visible on the Solana blockchain regardless of this policy.

Transaction and Payment Data

For all financial operations you execute through ClickBot, we collect and store the following: transaction reference numbers, service identifiers, payment amounts in both Naira and USDC/USDT, exchange rates applied, timestamps, transaction status, and any identifiers returned by third-party payment processors. For utility bill payments, we additionally store the meter number, smartcard number, or phone number you provide, the customer name returned by the utility provider, and any electricity tokens generated. For bank transfers, we store the recipient bank name, account number, account name, and narration you provide.

KYC and Verification Data

If you complete identity verification (KYC), we collect your legal name, date of birth, government-issued identification number, and any documents you submit. KYC data is processed in accordance with applicable financial regulations.

Usage and Interaction Data

We collect logs of commands and actions you take within ClickBot, session state information, error logs, and system performance data. We do not record the content of natural language messages beyond what is necessary to process your specific payment request.

Referral Data

If you join via a referral link or refer others, we record the referral relationship, referral commission amounts, and payout history.

03 — How We Use Your Data

Purposes of Data Processing

We process your personal data strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery — executing your trades, utility payments, bank transfers, yield deposits, and other requested operations.
  • Account management — creating and maintaining your ClickBot wallet and transaction history.
  • Fraud prevention and security — detecting suspicious activity, preventing unauthorized access, and protecting the platform and its users.
  • Regulatory compliance — meeting obligations under applicable Nigerian law including the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022 and directives of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
  • Customer support — investigating and resolving disputes, errors, or failed transactions you report to us.
  • Platform improvement — analysing aggregate usage patterns to improve reliability, speed, and feature design. We do not sell individual usage data.
  • Communications — sending you transaction receipts, payment confirmations, yield accrual notifications, and platform announcements via Telegram.

We do not use your data for advertising profiling, do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes, and do not use your data for any purpose not listed above without your explicit consent.

04 — Third-Party Services

Data Sharing with Partners

To operate ClickBot, we share necessary data with the following third-party service providers. Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the specific purpose of delivering the service in question.

A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor

We share your bank account details, full name, and transaction amounts with A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor to process Naira disbursements to Nigerian bank accounts. A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Their privacy policy is available at A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor.com.

A licensed utility bill aggregation service

We share your meter number, smartcard number, or phone number, along with payment amounts, with A licensed utility bill aggregation service to fulfil utility bill payments including electricity, airtime, data, and cable TV subscriptions. A licensed utility bill aggregation service is an authorised biller aggregator in Nigeria.

Solana Blockchain Network

All token trades, transfers, and wallet interactions are broadcast to and permanently recorded on the Solana blockchain, a public distributed ledger. Blockchain data is immutable and publicly accessible by anyone with your wallet address. We have no ability to delete or modify on-chain records.

Helius Labs and DexScreener

We use Helius RPC infrastructure and DexScreener APIs to fetch real-time token prices, liquidity data, and wallet information. Wallet address data is shared with these services to retrieve relevant information but is not stored by these providers beyond their standard service operation.

An AI language processing service

We use Anthropic's Claude AI API to process natural language payment instructions you type (e.g. "pay AEDC meter 123 2000"). The text of your message is transmitted to Anthropic for intent extraction. Anthropic processes this data under their API usage policy and does not retain it for model training by default under our enterprise agreement.

DigitalOcean LLC

Our infrastructure runs on DigitalOcean servers located in the Amsterdam, Netherlands region. All data stored on our servers is subject to DigitalOcean's data processing agreement and EU-standard security practices.

Legal Disclosure

We may disclose your personal data to law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or courts when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, protect safety, or enforce our terms.

05 — Data Retention

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your transaction records, wallet data, and identity information for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of your last transaction, as required by Nigerian anti-money laundering regulations. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal identifiers and non-transactional data within 30 days, but we are legally required to retain transaction records for the regulatory minimum period.

Usage logs and session data are retained for 90 days. KYC documents are retained for seven (7) years from submission.

06 — Security

How We Protect Your Data

Your wallet private key is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption before being stored in our database. Database access requires multi-factor authentication and is restricted to authorised ClickShift personnel. We implement IP allowlisting, rate limiting, and anomaly detection on all API endpoints. We conduct periodic security reviews of our infrastructure.

No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you via Telegram message within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with Nigerian data protection obligations.

07 — Your Rights

Rights Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023

Under applicable Nigerian law, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of personal data (subject to regulatory retention requirements)
  • Object to processing of your personal data for specific purposes
  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
  • Withdraw consent for processing activities based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at emmanuel@clickshift.io. We will respond within 30 days.

01 — The Agreement

Binding Contract

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ClickShift Inc. ("ClickShift", "we", "us"), governing your use of the ClickBot Telegram bot (t.me/clicksolbot) and all associated services, APIs, and infrastructure (collectively, the "Platform").

By initiating any interaction with ClickBot, including sending the /start command, you represent that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Risk Disclosure Statement, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Platform after notification of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

ClickShift reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any service, feature, or functionality at any time without prior notice. ClickShift shall not be liable for any losses arising from service modifications or discontinuation.

04 — Wallet and Custody

Your Wallet on ClickBot

ClickBot generates and manages a Solana wallet on your behalf. Your wallet private key is encrypted and stored on ClickShift's servers. This is a custodial arrangement — ClickShift holds the encrypted private key on your behalf.

⚠️ Important: Because ClickShift holds your encrypted private key, you are dependent on ClickShift's systems, security, and continued operation to access your funds. This is fundamentally different from a self-custody wallet where only you hold the key.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for the security of your Telegram account, which is the sole authentication mechanism for accessing your ClickBot wallet.
  • If your Telegram account is compromised, your ClickBot wallet and all associated funds may be at risk.
  • ClickShift will never ask you for your Telegram password, two-factor authentication code, or any credential unrelated to the Platform.
  • You will not share your Telegram account with any other person.
  • ClickShift bears no liability for losses arising from your Telegram account being compromised.
05 — User Obligations

Your Responsibilities

By using ClickBot, you agree to:

  • Use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Ensure that all funds deposited or transacted through the Platform are from legitimate sources and are not proceeds of crime, fraud, or any unlawful activity.
  • Provide accurate information for all utility payment transactions, including correct meter numbers, smartcard numbers, and phone numbers. ClickShift is not responsible for payments made to incorrect identifiers provided by you.
  • Not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent any security measure, rate limit, or access control of the Platform.
  • Not use the Platform to engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or any activity that artificially distorts token prices.
  • Not use automated bots or scripts to interact with ClickBot beyond the features explicitly provided within the Platform itself.
  • Promptly report any errors, unauthorised transactions, or suspected security incidents to ClickShift via emmanuel@clickshift.io.
  • Comply with all applicable Nigerian tax obligations arising from cryptocurrency gains, trading profits, or yield income.
06 — Fees and Charges

Platform Fees

ClickShift charges fees for the following services:

  • Trading fees — Applied as a percentage of each trade value, disclosed at the time of transaction.
  • Fiat offramp fees — Applied as a percentage of each Naira disbursement, disclosed at the time of transaction.
  • Utility payment fees — Applied as a percentage of each utility payment, disclosed in the payment preview before confirmation.
  • Yield platform fee — ClickShift retains a portion of gross yield generated on deposit pools, as disclosed in the yield product terms.

All fees are non-refundable once a transaction has been executed. ClickShift reserves the right to change its fee structure at any time. Updated fees will be communicated to users before taking effect.

Third-party fees charged by A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor, A licensed utility bill aggregation service, utility providers, and Solana network validators are separate from ClickShift fees and are embedded in the amounts displayed to you. ClickShift is not responsible for changes in third-party fees.

07 — Payments and Refunds

Transaction Finality

All transactions executed through ClickBot are final once confirmed. By tapping "Confirm & Pay", you authorise ClickShift to debit your wallet and execute the payment. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions and real-time utility vending, ClickShift does not offer refunds for completed transactions except in the following circumstances:

  • A utility payment was successfully debited from your wallet but the service was provably not delivered due to a A licensed utility bill aggregation service or network error.
  • A bank transfer was debited from your wallet but the recipient did not receive the funds due to a A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor processing error.
  • A system error resulted in double-deduction for the same transaction.

Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction to emmanuel@clickshift.io with the transaction reference number. ClickShift will investigate within 5 business days. Refunds, where approved, will be credited to your ClickBot wallet in USDC.

ClickShift is not responsible for funds lost due to user error, including incorrect payment identifiers, incorrect bank account details, or voluntary transactions the user later regrets.

08 — Limitation of Liability

Extent of ClickShift's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, ClickShift, its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of funds arising from cryptocurrency market movements, including but not limited to token price declines, liquidity crises, or exchange failures.
  • Any loss arising from smart contract bugs, vulnerabilities, or exploits in third-party protocols (including Jupiter, Drift, or any decentralised exchange).
  • Any loss arising from Telegram outages, Telegram account compromises, or changes to Telegram's API or policies.
  • Any loss arising from regulatory action by any government or authority that restricts or prohibits cryptocurrency or digital asset services.
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any nature, even if ClickShift has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
  • Acts or omissions of third-party providers including A Central Bank of Nigeria licensed payment processor, A licensed utility bill aggregation service, Helius, DexScreener, or Anthropic.
  • Force majeure events including but not limited to internet outages, power failures, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or civil unrest.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, ClickShift's total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to ClickShift in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

09 — Indemnification

Your Obligation to Indemnify ClickShift

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClickShift Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) any third-party claim arising from your actions on or through the Platform; or (e) any inaccurate information you provided to ClickShift.

10 — Suspension and Termination

Account Suspension

ClickShift reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Suspected fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity.
  • Failure to complete KYC verification when required.
  • Receipt of a regulatory directive or court order.
  • Dormant account with zero transactions for 12 consecutive months.

Upon termination, you may request withdrawal of any remaining balance in your ClickBot wallet, subject to identity verification and compliance checks. ClickShift reserves the right to freeze funds pending investigation where fraud or illegal activity is suspected.

11 — Dispute Resolution

Resolving Disagreements

In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform, you agree to first notify ClickShift in writing at emmanuel@clickshift.io and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution before pursuing any legal remedy.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (as amended) of Nigeria. Arbitration shall be conducted in Abuja, Nigeria, in the English language. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.

Nothing in this clause prevents ClickShift from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

12 — Governing Law

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Subject to the arbitration clause above, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, for any matters not subject to arbitration.

13 — Miscellaneous

General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver. Failure by ClickShift to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClickShift with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without ClickShift's prior written consent. ClickShift may assign its rights to any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No Partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and ClickShift.

Legal Document 03

Risk Disclosure Statement

Effective Date: May 16, 2026 Audience: All ClickBot Users Required Reading: Yes
🔴

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Using ClickBot involves significant financial risks including the potential loss of your entire invested capital. You should only use funds you can afford to lose entirely. This document discloses material risks but is not exhaustive. By using ClickBot you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted all risks described herein.

01 — Market Risk

Cryptocurrency Price Volatility

Digital assets including SOL, USDC, USDT, and all other tokens tradeable through ClickBot are subject to extreme and unpredictable price volatility. The value of your portfolio may increase or decrease dramatically within seconds, hours, or days.

High-Severity Risk

  • Token prices can fall to zero permanently with no recovery.
  • Even "stablecoin" assets such as USDC and USDT carry de-peg risk and issuer risk that could cause them to lose their dollar parity.
  • Meme tokens and newly launched tokens carry an extremely high probability of loss, often exceeding 90% of invested capital.
  • Past performance of any token is no indication of future results.

ClickShift does not provide investment advice. Nothing displayed in ClickBot, including Smart Picks, token analysis scores, or market commentary, constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. All trading decisions are made entirely at your own risk and discretion.

02 — Leveraged Trading Risk

Perpetual Futures and Margin

ClickBot offers access to leveraged perpetual futures contracts. Leveraged trading amplifies both potential gains and potential losses by a multiplier equal to your selected leverage. A 10x leveraged position can result in a 100% loss of your collateral from a 10% adverse price movement.

High-Severity Risk

  • You can lose your entire collateral in a single trade if the market moves against you sufficiently to trigger liquidation.
  • Liquidation can occur rapidly and without warning, particularly in periods of high volatility or low liquidity.
  • Funding rates for perpetual positions may result in ongoing costs that erode your position over time.
  • Oracle price feed errors or manipulation could result in incorrect liquidations.

ClickShift strongly advises against the use of leveraged instruments by anyone without substantial prior experience in derivatives trading. Do not use leverage unless you fully understand how perpetual futures work and can afford to lose all collateral deployed.

03 — Smart Contract and Protocol Risk

Decentralised Protocol Vulnerabilities

ClickBot executes trades through decentralised protocols including Jupiter Aggregator, Drift Protocol, and other Solana-based applications. These protocols operate via smart contracts — autonomous code that executes without human intervention.

  • Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or design flaws that could result in permanent loss of funds.
  • Decentralised protocols have been exploited for hundreds of millions of dollars historically. ClickShift cannot protect you against protocol-level exploits.
  • Protocol upgrades, migrations, or governance decisions may adversely affect your positions or the availability of trading pairs.
  • Solana network congestion, outages, or forks could prevent execution of your transactions at intended prices or times.
04 — Custodial Risk

ClickShift Custody of Your Wallet

ClickShift holds the encrypted private key of your wallet. This creates counterparty risk — your ability to access your funds depends on ClickShift's continued operation, solvency, and security practices.

  • If ClickShift ceases operations, is hacked, or becomes insolvent, access to your funds may be delayed or impaired.
  • Unlike a bank, your funds on ClickBot are not insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) or any government deposit protection scheme.
  • A successful cyberattack on ClickShift's servers could result in loss of encrypted key material. While we implement strong encryption, no system is impenetrable.

We recommend you do not hold more funds in ClickBot than you require for near-term transactions. For long-term storage of significant sums, consider a self-custody hardware wallet.

05 — Regulatory Risk

Legal and Compliance Uncertainty

The regulatory environment for cryptocurrency services in Nigeria and globally is rapidly evolving and uncertain.

  • The Central Bank of Nigeria, Securities and Exchange Commission, or other authorities may issue directives that restrict, prohibit, or impose new requirements on digital asset services at any time.
  • ClickShift may be required to suspend or permanently terminate services, freeze user funds, or disclose user information to regulatory authorities without prior notice to you.
  • Tax treatment of cryptocurrency gains in Nigeria is subject to ongoing legislative development. You are solely responsible for understanding and meeting your tax obligations.
  • If you access ClickBot from outside Nigeria, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. ClickShift makes no representation that the Platform is lawful or appropriate for use in any jurisdiction other than Nigeria.
06 — Utility Payment Risk

Bill Payment Delivery Risk

Utility bill payments including electricity tokens, airtime, data, and cable TV subscriptions are fulfilled by A licensed utility bill aggregation service, a third-party biller aggregator. ClickShift is not the utility provider and has no direct control over the delivery of these services.

  • Payments may be delayed due to A licensed utility bill aggregation service processing issues, utility provider system downtime, or network connectivity problems.
  • Once a payment is debited from your wallet and submitted to A licensed utility bill aggregation service, it cannot be reversed even if delivery fails temporarily.
  • Entering an incorrect meter number, phone number, or smartcard number may result in payment being credited to the wrong account. ClickShift is not responsible for user input errors.
  • A licensed utility bill aggregation service may be unavailable during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance periods, during which utility payments will fail.
07 — Yield and Staking Risk

Yield Engine Risk Factors

ClickBot offers yield-bearing deposits that earn interest on USDC and SOL holdings. Advertised APY rates are not guaranteed and may change at any time.

Specific Yield Risks

  • Yield rates are variable and may decrease significantly or drop to zero based on market conditions and platform liquidity.
  • For locked deposit plans, your principal is inaccessible until the lock period expires. You cannot withdraw early under any circumstances.
  • If ClickShift's liquidity pool becomes insufficient to meet withdrawal obligations, withdrawals may be delayed.
  • Yield returns are not guaranteed by any insurance scheme or government programme.
  • Yield income may be subject to Nigerian income tax.
08 — Copy Trading Risk

Risks of Following Other Wallets

Copy trading involves automatically mirroring trades from wallets you designate. Past performance of any wallet is not indicative of future results.

  • The wallet you copy may make poor trading decisions, resulting in losses to your account.
  • Execution of your mirrored trade may occur at a different price than the original trade due to Solana network latency, resulting in slippage.
  • The wallet being copied may exit a position before your exit order executes, leaving you holding an undesired position.
  • ClickShift does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the performance of any wallet tracked through the copy trading feature.
09 — Operational Risk

Platform and Technology Risk

  • ClickBot depends on Telegram's infrastructure. Telegram outages, API changes, or account bans could disrupt access to your funds.
  • ClickShift's servers may experience downtime, resulting in delayed or failed transactions.
  • Software bugs in ClickBot may cause incorrect execution of orders, including at unintended prices or quantities.
  • AI-powered natural language parsing of your payment instructions may misinterpret your intent. Always verify the payment preview before confirming.
10 — No Financial Advice

Important Disclaimer

ClickShift is a technology company and software platform operator. We are not a licensed investment adviser, stockbroker, financial planner, bank, or insurance company. Nothing on ClickBot constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

Before making any financial decision involving cryptocurrency, leveraged trading, or yield products, you should consider seeking independent professional advice from a qualified financial adviser who is aware of your personal financial circumstances.

✅ By continuing to use ClickBot, you confirm that you have read this Risk Disclosure Statement in full, that you understand the risks described, that you are making all trading and payment decisions voluntarily and independently, and that you will not hold ClickShift liable for any losses arising from risks disclosed in this document.
